Faith

Hello my fellow blog readers, if there is any... anywhos! Faith. You can faith in many things. You can have faith in family, friends, a snowstorm to cancel school, or even faith in a computer to get your homework done. But have you ever considered putting your faith in god. 2 years, 2 months and 9 days ago I was baptised into Christ. Vowing to change my life for the better.. give up the old ways and start anew. Did that happen? No way in blue cheese. I got baptised thinking that changing was going to be a piece of cake. Well the piece of cake is about as hard as a rock. Not only have I not changed, I've become worse .. in ways i wish not to share. But I have continued going to youth group, I'll show up to church - once in awhile... but I have learnt more about what it does mean putting your faith completely in God. If something is bothering you, you pray to him and ask him to give you the strength to get through it.. and then you trust him to do it. It DOESNT mean turn around and start worrying about it all over again, or find another solution to the problem. I've also learnt it's really stupid to go and do something stupid and wrong and sinful and think "oh, god is forgiving, i'll ask for forgiveness then it wont matter" ... it does matter. Because Guilt is something you cant escape. Something the devil loves to put in you. Those little voices in your head.. telling you that something is wrong... it's called a conscience, I call it a gift from God. I may go against it... but its there telling me im being stupid. Now you may be sitting there thinking "this kid needs help". Well guess what.. I know I do. I need the help from god to out aside my old life, my old ways, and bad habits and start anew. I know he's willing to give it... now all i need to do is be willing to recieve it...
